the year.. more or less..
it's sorta to early for a look at the year.. but, i'm feeling it right now. (cause i should be packing for a early flight tomorrow)
nothing happened on the pandatone front more or less. ok, i lie. i played around tokyo in the spring, made lots of new friends, and had fun being the panda. yeah! otherwise, in real life it was about getting back up on my feet (i freelance for a living), and though not to noticeable yet, pumping lots of drugs into music related.
oh man! 2007 is going to be it! i tell you now.. or i'm going to die. those are the options. the '06 was filled with the much delays. and really only got aus's CD out. witch as i voiced before. did not get the respect this CD so should get. even OM was telling me, it's a total sleeper. great CD..
i'm constantly being told CDs are dead.. long live the mp3. but then no one will review or take notice of creation-centre. i think so far its been good. and the next year is looking tasty also! i mean, what do people want? seriously. i don't know. but, wait, on 2nd thought. your not going to get it. you want what i tell you. ;) tried to get ST's album out before the end of the year. but seemed to only confuse my distro's and folks i work with.
whoops. try this again next year on that.
shit is moving faster then i can think. but then nothing is happening at all. i'm finally breaking down. i'm feed up with dealing with labels. so i'm going to finally release my own CD on my own label. i told myself i wouldn't. but here it is. there are lots of thing i was, and wasn't going to do. those kind of things are bullshit, and don't even pretend.
so a pandatone CD this winter, called "happy together" on music related. yeah! more EPs to come too. expect them to be all over the place on style.
i don't give a'... does any one really?
we'll RE: ST's album, the sea CD, nobuko's grand entrance will take place. luminous orange will glow.. marxy will keep his attention for over 1:30 secs.. these are facts. i oh so look forward to '07..
the new music related site is done. its just being moved into it's new home, and will show up around the begining of the year!
ok, and here is a half assed CDs of the year.. i'm not even sure when some of these were released. but i listened to them the most.
Flilfa "frame"
Asuna "room note"
Camping "Suburban Shore"
Console "mono"
ellen allient & apparat "orchestra of bubbles"
lo-fi-fnk "boylife"
part timer "part timer"
peter bjorn and john "writer's block"
spank rock "yoyoyoyoyo"
the streets "a grand don't come for free" (yeah, this is totally not from this year. but on hardcore rotation.. still)
kudu "death of the party"

11 spring
so, the wooster event at 11 spring has come and gone. the turn out was inane. how insane? i didn't get to see the show!
i went down on the last day. sunday.. and found, the longest line i think i may have ever seen.
so, i shot a video of me walking the line, from the end, to the door. i didn't change the speed of this footage, and tried to walk as fast as i could when i could. this is a serious line of people. to bad i didn't see the show. but no way was i waiting in that line.

sonorapid
i know this is more or less "old news". but as it gets cold here (again), and just feeling more, wintery. though totally void of snow, etc. just short days. i am really re:enjoying aus's sonorapid CD. you'd think thats a given. but its not like it was new to me when i released it last spring. and it was spring. not winter. thats important.. it's really working out. i strongly suggested people re:check out this CD. it's really good. and makes the wait for his new LP on moteer records even lamer..

desk papers
desktops, or "wallpapers" (as i think PC people call them) are important to me. lots of times i go places (to work) and just have to throw up a flar color cause they have a default OSX desktop up. ugly.. or people can just deal with more clutter then i can visually on the screen. or brightness. anyways, because i am so picky, i have slowly been actually working at making desktops for myself. and have been able to have these up for weeks with not problems.
please check them out yourself. they are designed for a wide screen display.. click up the thumbnails there to get the full size, and save the image to your desktop, and etc.
